Ìbẹ̀rẹ̀the beginning

On Friday 5 February 2021 the first Abuletic Tour, Introduction to Abuletic, opened at the Equity Resort Hotel in Ijebu-Ode: a night of music, comedy, dance and African display, and the start of everything since.

Presented by Hawtt Records, the night began on a red carpet at four. A lead drummer opened the show, talking drums faced each other across the stage, a dance company and a live band filled it, and an elder was honoured and greeted in the Yoruba way. A drone flew above it all, which is why so much of this first night can be seen from the air.
